E-mail Print PDF

When a child with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is being enrolled in

school it is important to remember that it is difficult for the child as well as the teacher.

A child with ADHD has difficulties with social skills required for being in a classroom.

Going to school will be the primary place for a child to socialize outside of normal family

As a parent of an ADHD child, we watch them very closely, we monitor their habits to see if the meds are working, and we become very familiar with the traits of an ADHD child.

It's no wonder that some parents are seeing some very familiar things in this process, and turning that microscope back around to look at themselves.

But it may not always happen that way - parents might be too "distracted" worrying about the well being of the child to notice the same problems in themselves.

This is why we found this video so interesting - thanks to King5.com out of Seattle for bringing it to our attention. (Click "Read More" for the video)
